Hi, my name's Victoria, I'm an artist based in rural Herefordshire.

Currently my work is focused on my interests in texture, shape and contrast.

Though a lot of my work is based on things found in nature, mostly plants, usually the focus is not so much on the subject as it is on the patterns and textures the subject creates.

I also love some of the ambiguity found in nature; the pattern an iris petal makes, out of context, could be part of the internal body, some kind of microscopic image, or it might evoke the image of the lines water makes in sand beside a stream. I enjoy a piece of art where it is not fully complete until it has been interpreted or interacted with.
